A unique training course to become a Junior Online Marketing Manager
The Online Marketing division is one of the most important core competences of the Scout24 Group. Our unique training programme starting in January will provide trainees with a sound knowledge base of theoretical and practical know-how in every area of online marketing through participation in professional training sessions with leading internal and external online experts.
Trainees are directly integrated in operational projects for various markets where they can gain first-hand experience of the respective segment. They quickly adopt responsibility and consistently hone their online marketing and management skills.
The tasks presented to trainees during the year-long training course comprise:
Implementing and monitoring online marketing segments, in particular:
- Search Engine Optimization / SEO
- Keyword-Advertising / SEM
- Affiliate Marketing / Partner programmes
- Online Media / Online Advertising
- Social Media Marketing & Optimization
- Web Analytics / Tracking
Creation of market analyses and competitor observation, as well as developing approaches to solutions
Taking responsibility for operational and strategic online marketing (sub-) projects
The so-called Online Marketing Contest is a central component of training and condenses the entire teaching content into "learning by doing": Trainees create a complete and independent web site within the scope of a team project. The tasks comprise every aspect of online, web site and product management including business planning and final presentation. Exemplary trainee contest projects include wandern-und-outdoor.de, erstewohnung24.de, kinderprodukte24.de, muenchen-insider.net, gosporting.de and dinnerjones.de.
Successful graduates will qualify for a position with responsibility within the Online Marketing division at Scout24 Group. We have trained four to seven Junior Online Marketing Managers every year since 2007; they have since become mainstays of Scout24 Online Marketing operations and are appreciated by employees and customers alike, not least thanks to the reputable in-house training programme.
