Committed: 800 employees support more than 75 social projects during the Social Day 2013

More than 800 employees of the Scout24 Group participated in over 75 social projects in Berlin and Munich, where the Group's offices are located. In Munich, more than 300 employees were involved in activities by organisations for children and young people, facilities for senior citizens, environmental associations and animal protection projects.

Fresh air, more green, less noise – these are the objectives of Green City e.V. and the activities planned together with Scout24 for the Social Day 2013. Scout24 CEO Dr. Martin Enderle rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in to the planting action in Schwabing together with his employees. "Corporate citizenship is a matter of course for a young and dynamic company such as Scout24. Scout24 employees in Berlin and Munich put their zest for action and creativity to good use within the scope of important social projects during the Social Day activities. It is only natural for the group's management to roll up their shirt sleeves and get stuck in when it comes to active participation in social projects", says Dr. Martin Enderle.

Matching requirements and talent

The concept behind the Scout24 Social Day: each employee chooses one of more than 75 social projects and gets stuck in where his or her talent can be of the greatest benefit. The activities under the slogan "Doing good deeds together" range from handiwork at the animal sanctuary "Gut Streiflach", accompanying day trips organised by the "Münchner Tafel" and consultation projects such as the dogs for therapy foundation "HundeHelfenHeilen-Stiftung".

Live communication – employs report on their projects

The employees of the Scout24 Group report live on their respective projects taking place during the Social Day. Facebook and Twitter are at the heart of live communications. Current tweets on the Social Day can be followed via the hashtag #S24SocialDay and the Twitter Wall of the Scout24 Corporate Blog.
