Change in leadership at Scout24

Christian Mangstl switches to the Supervisory Board, Dr. Martin Enderle appointed new CEO

Munich, 2 May 2005: at his own instigation, Christian Mangstl, co-founder of the Scout24 Group, will retire from his position as group CEO at the end of May and switch to the Supervisory Board. He is succeeded by Dr. Martin Enderle, currently divisional manager for international business and shareholdings at T-Online International AG and member of the Scout24 Supervisory Board.

Christian Mangstl played a decisive role in the successful development of the Scout24 Group. In 1998, he was jointly responsible for developing the operating business of AutoScout24, before subsequently taking over the management as CEO of the Scout24 Group in September 2000. Consequently, he steered the group out of the start-up phase and into profitable growth: with double-digit annual growth in turnover and a monthly reach of around 4 million in terms of German Internet users, the Scout24 Group has consolidated its position as Europe's leading network of online market places. The group currently employs 680 staff. At the beginning of 2004, T-Online acquired Scout24, which remains an independent brand and organization within the T-Online group of companies.

"I am extremely proud of Scout24 and all that we have achieved so far. On the basis of this market position and in association with T-Online, Scout24 can look forward to sustaining its highly successful development in the future. For personal reasons however, after practically seven years at Scout24 - almost five of which were as CEO - the point has now come for me to reorganize my priorities and time. I am absolutely delighted that Martin Enderle, who I have worked extremely closely with for more than a year, is taking on the task as CEO, a task in which I will have the opportunity of supporting him and Scout24 in my new role with the Supervisory Board", says Mangstl.

Rainer Beaujean, Chief Executive of T-Online International AG and Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Scout24, adds: "Scout24 is an extremely successful platform and an important component within the strategy of T-Online International AG. I would like to extend my most sincere thanks to Christian Mangstl for his work and excellent collaboration, which we will continue to pursue in restructured form. On account of his close cooperation with Scout24 to date, Dr. Martin Enderle is an excellent successor to Christian Mangstl".

Dr. Martin Enderle is currently the divisional manager for international business and shareholdings at T-Online International AG and was largely responsible for the acquisition of the Scout24 Group by T-Online. Furthermore, Dr. Enderle is also a member of the Supervisory Board at Scout24.
Christian Mangstl will remain with the Scout24 Group: alongside his activity within the Supervisory Board of Scout24 Holding, he will also be active on various committees for individual online market places of the Scout24 Group.
