12th December, 2006 - Scout24 Group strengthens its competence in product innovation with Ralph Piater.
From now on, he will hold the newly-created position as Product Development Director. As head of the
new Product Development Department he will be responsible for the department's further development into
Scout24 group's "Innovation Lab". He will directly report to Christoph Hölzlwimmer, Vice President
Marketing and member of Scout24's Management Board.
Ralph
Piater will pay special attention to consistent use of product synergies on the websites of Scout24's
seven market-places. Further tasks of 33 year old Piater include design and establishment of quality
management processes as well as selection and coordination of relevant partners, service providers and
vendors.
Before he changed to Scout24, Ralph Piater worked for six years for Lycos Europe. In his last position he was responsible for the international direct client business. After finishing his studies at TU Chemnitz (master's degree in business administration), he started his professional career at the International Faculty of Finance in 1998.
