First report on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion published

On the occasion of today's German Diversity Day, we are publishing our first report on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) at Scout24. Within it, we transparently show the progress we have made in the DEI area over the last years.

We are excited to celebrate the publication of our first Scout24 DEI Report today. Since we signed the “Charta der Vielfalt” (the German Diversity Charter) in 2020, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion have been anchored as prioritized topics on all levels at Scout24. In our first DEI Report, we now present all relevant figures, statistics and projects on the various aspects of diversity.

One example is the increased number of women in tech, from 17% in 2020 to 28% in 2022. The share of women in the entire organization ranged at 43% in 2022. Overall, the workforce has also become more diverse in terms of age and internationality since 2020. In the previous year, employees from 58 nations worked at Scout24. We attribute these successes to our DEI projects – we are particularly proud of our annual surveys on the state of inclusive culture at Scout24, the establishment of LGBTQIA+, women's, BIPoC and student communities, as well as our long-standing cooperation with Sozialheld*innen e. V., among other things.

Despite the great progress, we still have a long way to go. Therefore, we are also reporting on our next goals in order to create a diverse, inclusive and equal-opportunity working environment. For 2023, those for instance include our internal pilot project "Female Leadership Coaching" to develop female talent. In the long term, we want to achieve gender parity in the entire workforce by 2025 with initiatives like this.
