HOME STREET HOME: ImmoScout24 donates 200.000 Euro for Housing first

ImmoScout24 has been supporting Housing First organizations with the HOME STREET HOME initiative since 2021. The idea is to connect landlords with Housing First organizations and get homeless people back into a stable tenancy. For them, this is a chance for a fresh start. ImmoScout24 has now completed its largest corporate donation to date, amounting to EUR 200,000 for the project.

Landlords who advertise on ImmoScout24 can signal that they are open to renting to homeless people with just one click. Hoursing first organizations throughout Germany are automatically informed about the new housing offers and can start the application process for one of their clients.  The decision on who receives the tenancy agreement remains with the landlord. 

To further support Housing first and our Home Street Home initiative, ImmoScout24 launched a special campaign from September to December 2023: for every new Plus membership taken out, the company donated EUR 1 to the homeless initiative One Warm Winter. The funds raised, amounting to EUR 200,000, will be distributed to Housing First organizations nationwide by our partner Dojo Cares.
