Scout24 in Munich
Welcome to Munich, the capital of Bavaria and the largest state in Germany. Some people say that we speak the strangest dialect in the country, but we say that it is simply our warmth. Let us introduce you to our city in more detail.
You will find our Munich office in a prime location of the city. Close to the city centre and with modern equipment, you will find plenty of space for ideas and room for your thoughts. And with your colleagues right next door, you can coordinate and exchange ideas quickly. If you leave the office, you can walk to the S-Bahn or U-Bahn station in just a few minutes. On your way, you will pass your new favourite café or bistro, which also invites you to enjoy lunch each day. Of course, you can also enjoy your coffee on our roof terrace or in our kitchen. If you need fresh thoughts, our office dogs or a yoga session will inspire you.
Hip and modern: We proudly present your new (professional) home. Cosy sofa corners, bar tables or meeting points invite you to exchange ideas and be productive. You will receive a technology set-up from us that deserves the label of “State of the Art”. After all, nothing should stand in the way of your success.
Munich is, and we’re quite open about it, not the cheapest city in Germany. The rents are quite high, even for Germany – however, compared to Amsterdam, Tokyo or Zurich, you can live here quite reasonably. You will certainly learn to find and love your own new home quickly. In the hustle and bustle of the city centre or in the idyllic suburbs – where you choose to live is your choice.
Munich is an incredibly liveable city. The proximity to the mountains, the well-developed public transport system and the green cityscape speak for themselves. Did you know that there is a park in the middle of Munich that is over 500 football fields in size? The English Garden is the green lung of the city and invites you to cycle, barbecue and relax.
If you like hiking or climbing, you can be in the Alps in a few hours. Or at the Ammersee for swimming. By the way: In Munich, you can even go surfing. At the Isar and Eisbach, you will find two spots that offer the best conditions for surfing all year round.
Bringing your family to Munich? They too will settle in easily here. Whether on the playground next door, in the nearest sports club or at school: you will certainly make new friends quickly. The school system in Germany is predominantly state-organised, thus with no school fees, making the transition even easier. The daycare centres in Munich are also free of charge - only the youngest children under the age of three pay a small monthly fee.
Munich is also a city of millions. Big enough to experience the hustle and bustle of a big city, but still small enough to find a quiet place. Grab a bike to explore the city - from our office, you can also get to the city centre quickly. Theatre, cinema or museum? You are spoilt for choice. Munich has a lot to offer. You have probably heard of our famous Oktoberfest, which is copied and celebrated in various forms all over the world. But Munich can do more than just beer (although we are convinced that you will get the best here. Almost every day there are concerts and the nightlife takes place mainly in the city centre. From a techno party to a classical open-air concert to a relaxed evening in the beer garden, there is something for everyone. As a football fan you should definitely go to a home game of FC Bayern Munich. The most successful German football club kicks off in the north of the city.
In Munich you are super mobile with your bike and public transport. On the 1,200 kilometres of cycle paths, you can safely explore the city, ride to the office or to the nearest supermarket. By train you can quickly reach the mountains, the Austrian cities or the warmth of Italy.
We at Scout24 value and embrace the diversity that our employees bring to the company with their individual capabilities, talents and skills because we are convinced that precisely this diversity is the foundation for our success. People can only unlock their potential if they feel secure, valued and respected as individuals. We welcome everyone – regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual identity, race, skin color, ethnic origin, citizenship, ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, age or marital status.
