Jan Flaskamp Appointed Vice President Communications & Marketing of Scout24 AG
In this position, Jan Flaskamp will report directly to Michael Bütter and collaborate closely with Thomas Schroeter, who are both Managing Directors of ImmobilienScout24 and Members of the Scout24 Group Management Board. Jan Flaskamp was most recently responsible for international corporate and marketing communications as Head of Communications and Marketing at Dussmann Group, including all affiliated subsidiaries, a position he held from 2011. He also took over the management of the international services alliance, ideafm.com, in 2014, and launched the cleaning portal, dussmanndirect, in 2016.
Following an internship with a daily newspaper, Jan Flaskamp began his career as an editor at Berliner Zeitung and then as manager of the video text editorial office. This was followed in 1994 by his first role in a PR agency, as editor and consultant. In 1997, he was appointed Head of Customer Service at FLASKAMP AG. Later on he was responsible for the advertising, PR and online departments as a Board Member and Partner. Among others, Jan Flaskamp supported customers from the energy, real estate, government, lottery, banking, aviation and automotive sectors, focusing on integrated communications and PR. Jan Flaskamp joined fischerAppelt in Hamburg as PR Director in 2008, where he managed the corporate & public and technology & mobility consulting teams. His remit included topic management, political communications and integrated campaigns, and he also advised clients on regulatory issues as well as on crisis and sustainability communications.
