We have a rare and exciting opportunity as we seek a Head of Search Product at ImmobilienScout. This role is pivotal in enhancing and optimizing the consumer search experience.

 

How your role will look like:

  • Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for search, ensuring ImmobilienScout remains the market leader.
  • Drive the improvement of the consumer search experience, leveraging data-driven insights, user feedback, and industry best practices to enhance search functionality, filters, and user interface across all platforms.
  • Drive an "interconnected experience" in search with AI features
  • Manage a team of 4 product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional growth and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data analytics, marketing, and customer support, to align strategies, prioritize initiatives, and drive successful execution.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, user behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in search experiences.
  • Effectively communicate search strategies, initiatives, and results to executive leadership, fostering a culture of transparency and alignment.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion in B2C-related roles, preferably in the online marketplaces or consumer search products.
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in a leadership roles (Head Of, Team Lead or equivalent).
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive optimization efforts.
  • Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop innovative approaches to enhance search.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
  • Prior industry experience or academic degree in computer science, information systems or a technical field advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and German language skills would be an advantage.
