How your role will look like ?
- Lead and mentor the development team while defining architecture, technical standards, and best practices.
- Stay hands-on in Java development — implementing features, improving code quality, and resolving complex production issues.
- Drive the modernization of monolithic structures toward modular and service-oriented architectures.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap.
- Continuously improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- You will work in a modern and evolving tech environment including Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), AWS, Docker, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), relational databases, and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
- This is not a coordination role — it’s a hands-on leadership position where you actively shape architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction.
What do you already bring with you?
- Several years of experience as a Senior Java Developer with strong architectural expertise
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience
- Experience modernizing monolithic systems and designing scalable distributed architectures
- Solid knowledge of cloud environments (ideally AWS) and container technologies (Docker)
- Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude, and collaborative working style
- Fluent German and English
