Our annual corporate volunteering format in summer 2022

From the beginning of April to the end of August 2022, all employees were able to support refugees from the Ukraine as well as homeless people in general. In light of the war in Ukraine, our corporate volunteering format spontaneously became not only a Social Summer, but also a Social Spring.

Over a period of five months, instead of the originally planned three months, each employee was able to use eight hours of their working time, alone or with their team, to support a social project of their choice. This initiative was organised by our Sustainability Team.

In a total of 530 hours, the scouts demonstrated their solidarity with the Ukrainians, launched appeals for donations and even organised the transport of material donations to crisis areas. As part of our volunteer action, we actively supported 14 different engagement projects.  

At Scout24, we have joined forces as the #OneTeam to help people in particularly difficult circumstances.
