The Scout24 Information Security teams are highly skilled teams supporting all our teams to build and run secure digital products. We understand that security is an essential feature for our users, and we include it in all our initiatives as a natural ingredient.We are looking for Security Experts, that really care.
How your role will look like:
- Develop, maintain and deliver security solutions in the Scout24 development and product ecosystem with a can-do and iterative mentality.
- Collaborate inside our security and delivery teams to make our security tools even better.
- Work with software engineers and provide security consultancy and security knowledge in the Scout24 SDLC process. You have the desire to work closely with other teams and understand and react to their needs.
- Build security products that can deal with a scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Support on security incident handling and resolution.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience in software development in a scaling cloud environment, ideally with Python/Go/Java, and secure architectures leveraging open-source solutions.
- Strong understanding of secure software development life cycle processes, SAST, DAST and CI/CD.
- A genuine passion for Security, strong knowledge of attack vectors (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for web applications, MITRE ATT&CK framework, etc.), defense strategies and the global Security Community.
- A good sense of communication and stakeholder support and enablement on security on fixing and preventing flaws in our products and services.
- Experience with authentication mechanisms like OAuth2, SAML.
- Experience in open-source tools/frameworks, glue coding and some technology we are using (Azure AD, AWS, CloudFormation, ECS, ELK stack, Docker, Kubernetes, different SaaS solutions (e.g., GitHub, Okta), Tomcat/JVM based stacks, Python/Go based backend tools)
