Tobias Hartmann (Chief Executive Officer)
Tobias Hartmann has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Scout24 Group since 19 November 2018. He is responsible for managing the entire operational business.
Tobias Hartmann has more than two decades of international management experience in launching, developing and growing consumer product and platform solutions businesses. He has worked for both privately held and publicly listed companies in Europe and the USA. Hartmann was a member of the executive management board and president US at HelloFresh SE, the world's leading meal kit company. During his tenure, the company became market leader in the USA in 2018. Previously, Tobias Hartmann was president of US-based Radial Inc., a multi-national provider of Omni-Channel eCommerce solutions formerly part of eBay Inc. Born in Augsburg, he was also a member of the executive management team at Loyalty Partner GmbH to launch "Payback", one of the world’s leading loyalty platforms.
Dr. Dirk Schmelzer (Chief Financial Officer)
Dr. Dirk Schmelzer is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Scout24 Group. In this function he is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, Procurement & Facilities and Investor Relations. Dr. Dirk Schmelzer joined Scout24 in June 2019. Previously he was CFO of the NuCom Group, a subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 and Private Equity Investor General Atlantic. For more than six years prior to that, he was CFO of the public listed company Tomorrow Focus AG and its spin-off company HolidayCheck Group AG, which operates the largest German hotel rating portal. Prior to this, he was CFO in the telecommunications industry, namely at Telefónica Deutschland GmbH and HanseNet GmbH. With a doctorate in political economy, he began his professional career in 1997 as a controller, and later in various management positions within the finance sector at the predecessor companies of Telefónica O2 (Germany).
Christian Gisy (Member of the Management Board)
Christian Gisy was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Scout24 Group from September 2014 to 17 June 2019. He will leave the company on 1 July 2019.
Christian Gisy has a broad strategic, financial and public company experience. Prior to joining Scout24, Gisy spent eight years working for CinemaxX AG. He was CFO and then managed the company from 2008 onwards as Chairman of the Board. In earlier positions, Gisy worked as an auditor and subsequent as Director of Equity Capital Markets at WestLB Panmure and was also active as a Director of Finance for VIVA Media AG and WaveLight AG.
Christian Gisy is a member of the supervisory board of Business Heads AG, a management consultancy based in Düsseldorf.
Dr. Thomas Schroeter (Chief Product Officer)
Dr. Thomas Schroeter has been Chief Product Officer of the Scout24 Group since December 2018 and is thus responsible for the entire product development and marketing. He joined ImmobilienScout24 in March 2017 as a proven digital expert and has headed the company since February 2018 in dual leadership with Ralf Weitz. The business graduate has many years of experience in the digital economy, both in the corporate and start-up environment. Previously, Thomas Schroeter was Chief Operating Officer Germany for eBay, the world's largest online marketplace, and Managing Director of ViA-Online GmbH. He was also co-founder and managing director of the language portal bab.la, which was successfully sold to Oxford University Press in 2015. During his career, he also worked at the Swiss bank Clariden Leu AG and the Boston Consulting Group in Munich.
Ralf Weitz (Chief Commercial Officer)
Ralf Weitz has been Chief Commercial Officer of the Scout24 Group since December 2018 and is responsible for all sales activities of the Scout24 marketplaces. He has held various management positions at Scout24 for over ten years. Since February 2018, he has led the business of ImmobilienScout24 in dual leadership with Dr. Thomas Schroeter. The economist had a decisive influence on the development of the Scout24 Consumer Services division, which under his leadership has developed into an important growth engine for the Group. After studying economics in Berlin, Ralf Weitz worked, among other things, in international consulting.
