Tobias Hartmann (Chief Executive Officer)

Tobias Hartmann has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Scout24 Group since 19 November 2018. He is responsible for managing the entire operational business.

Tobias Hartmann has more than two decades of international management experience in launching, developing and growing consumer product and platform solutions businesses. He has worked for both privately held and publicly listed companies in Europe and the USA. Currently, he is a member of the executive management board and president US at HelloFresh SE, the world's leading meal kit company. During his tenure, the company became market leader in the USA in 2018. Previously, Tobias Hartmann was president of US-based Radial Inc., a multi-national provider of Omni-Channel eCommerce solutions formerly part of eBay Inc. Born in Augsburg, he was also a member of the executive management team at Loyalty Partner GmbH to launch "Payback", one of the world’s leading loyalty platforms.


Christian Gisy (Chief Financial Officer)

Christian Gisy took on his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Scout24 Group in September 2014. He is responsible for the areas of Finance, Accounting, Tax, Controlling, Legal/Compliance, Risk Management, Purchasing & Facilities and Corporate IT.

Gisy has a broad strategic, financial and public company experience. Prior to joining Scout24, Gisy spent eight years working for CinemaxX AG. He was CFO and then managed the company from 2008 onwards as Chairman of the Board. Together with his team he successfully turned around and restructured the business becoming Germany’s most profitable cinema exhibition circuit. From his appointment as CEO until the sale to a combination of private equity and strategic investors the share price went from 0.30 Euro to 6.45 Euro before the company was delisted.

In earlier positions, Gisy worked as an auditor and subsequent as Director of Equity Capital Markets at WestLB Panmure and was also active as a Director of Finance for VIVA Media AG and WaveLight AG. 

Christian Gisy is a member of the supervisory board of Business Heads AG, a management consultancy based in Düsseldorf.

Greg Ellis (Member of the Management Board)

Gregory Ellis is a member of the Executive Board. From March 2014 to November 2018 he was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Scout24 Group and will leave the company on 31 December 2018.

Ellis has more than 20 years of experience in the international online/media business. Prior to joining Scout24, Ellis spent more than five years as Managing Director and CEO of REA Group, a multi-country digital real estate marketplace headquartered in Australia. During his time at REA, Ellis and his team achieved extraordinary growth rates, while the share price rose by more than 350% over five years (end of 2009 to end of 2014).

Previously, Ellis served as Managing Director for Online at Truvo BV and as Managing Director of Sensis Interactive and Group Marketing Manager for Telstra Corporation.

In 2017, Greg Ellis took over a position as a member of the supervisory board of the Australian real estate portal
