Scout24 AG confirms press articles that it is in advanced negotiations with a number of bidders, including the financial investor Hellman & Friedman, with regard to a sale of AutoScout24 which could be concluded within a short period of time. The purchase price offered by the bidder Hellman & Friedman significantly exceeds the amount of EUR 2.5bn stated in today's press coverage.

Neither the management board nor the supervisory board of Scout24 AG have granted the necessary approval to conclude such transaction.
