New Scout24 brand identity is German Brand Award Winner

Munich / Berlin. 18 June 2020 - Scout24, the operator of the online marketplace ImmoScout24, has received the German Brand Award in the category "Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation - Brand Design" for its new brand presence. Scout24 also received a "Special Mention" in the category "Brand Strategy of the Year". With the German Brand Award, the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung) and the German Brand Institute honour successful product and corporate brands as well as campaigns, concepts and strategies.

"Our new brand identity is the most comprehensive redesign in the history of the company. I am even more pleased that we have been awarded one of the most prestigious German brand prizes for our courage. With the new design we convey our promise and our mission even more tangible: we make complex decisions concerning real estate easy for our customers and users," says Dr Thomas Schroeter, Chief Product Officer of Scout24.

Characteristic of the new design of the Scout24 Group is a digital highlighter style that underlines, circles and marks what is most important. Instead of the classic newspaper advertisement, this now takes place on the digital surface. The Scout24 Group is thus consistently developing its brand image further - and still remains true to its own roots. The aim here is to reduce complexity, create orientation and ensure clarity. In addition to the brand logos, all associated brand elements such as typography, photography, illustration style and colour sets have also been revised.

Scout24 worked together with DesignStudio, a renowned brand and design agency from London, Great Britain, for the new brand identity.

The German Brand Award was presented for the fifth time in 2020. The jury consists of independent experts from the fields of business, science, consulting, services and agencies. The entries are evaluated according to the criteria of independence and brand typology, brand impact, differentiation from the competition and target group relevance. Besides, the brand management should consider aspects such as sustainability, degree of innovation, continuity and future viability.
