„Bridging Differences, Building Connections" - Our Diversity Week 2025!
From July 1 to 3, we once again offered our employees the possibility of receiving educational opportunities on diversity-specific topics in various formats. We are particularly proud that the entire Scout24 SE Group took part for the first time. With 10 sessions and almost 800 participants across all our subsidiaries, our Diversity Week was once again a complete success.
As a kick-off for an exciting week, Dr. Martin Bloomfield and Prof. Dr. Claudia Lemke (Berlin School of Economics and Law) gave us insights into neurodiversity and sensitized us to the spectrum of neurological differences in information processing in the brain. Another highlight was the interactive workshop by Charlotte Lohmann (Amadeu Antonio Stiftung e.V.), in which she informed us about the radicalization of children and adolescents through anti-democratic content in social media and outlined measures for prevention. Ultimately, Jessica Wulf (Fraunhofer Institute) explained the risks of discrimination posed by ubiquitous AI systems - an aspect that is of particular relevance to us as a leading digital company.
In addition to other insightful sessions, our workshop formats were incredibly valuable. Together with the Sozialheld:innen, we developed ideas for more accessibility in our products and demonstrated the practical implementation of gender-sensitive communication in a lunch-and-learn session. We also celebrated the culinary diversity at Scout24 with our charity buffet and at the same time took on social responsibility by generating a considerable donation sum for Doctors Without Borders.
Many thanks to all speakers and participants for their important contributions, the inspiring discussions and their great commitment. We are already looking forward to next year!
