Social Summer 2025: Our employees are committed to social projects

From the beginning of June to the end of August 2025, our teams once again demonstrated how much we can achieve together. With a total of 775 hours of volunteer work, we have once again exceeded our numbers from the previous year. This sends a clear signal for social cohesion.

Particularly in demand were projects at the Berliner Tafel food bank and the Berliner Stadtmission logistics center. Here, our employees actively contributed to reducing food waste and helping those in need. "The Stadtmission employees gave us a warm welcome and showed us the important work that is done here every day. Our small contribution – preparing fresh vegetables – fit seamlessly into this great mission," reported one employee after her team's volunteer work.

In addition, our Scouts organized a summer party for the Chancenhaus Hermes – a homeless shelter run by the Vienna Red Cross that provides homeless people with accommodation, care, support, and social work counseling. We also helped renovate a children's home run by Schwanthaler Flöhe in Munich, which gives children aged one to ten enough space to play, learn, and discover.

Supporting social projects was once again an absolute highlight for our employees this year. Our Social Summer not only stands for active commitment, but above all for community in action: it enables personal encounters and makes the impact of social engagement immediately tangible. The positive response shows that helping people not only makes a difference in the community, but also enriches those who get involved.

We would like to thank all the Scouts for their fantastic commitment and are already looking forward to the next Social Summer!
