Strengthening non-profit organizations through knowledge transfer: A look back at the Berlin Social Academy 2025
As a founding member, Scout24 was once again part of the initiative this year, which was first launched in 2013. The aim of the Academy is to promote knowledge transfer for non-profit organizations and strengthen their work in the long term through pro bono workshops and webinars offered by companies and start-ups. Once again, the range of topics was highly diverse, covering communication and social media, data security, project management, and human resources issues. A particular focus was placed on the use of artificial intelligence.
With more than 50 courses, over 1,500 registrations, and around 75 speakers, we can once again report very impressive results. Our Scouts also enriched the program with practical sessions on efficient prompting, effective presentations, design with AI, and legal issues surrounding the use of AI. Another special highlight was the networking event at Amazon's KiezLab, where we welcomed Oliver Friederici, State Secretary for Civic Engagement of the State of Berlin.
We would like to thank all participants, speakers, and partners for their commitment. We are already looking forward to the 14th Berlin Social Academy next year!
